In the summer of 1984 Gerard and RoRo saw an opportunity to spread the Gospel together in a powerful way. The desire to model unity and truth compelled two brothers establish a new mission.  Thus Haitian Christian Outreach was born. RoRo returned to launch the Emmanuel Christian Church in Port-au-Prince in April of 1985 and Gerard went to Cincinnati Christian University to prepare for ministry. Gerard would return to Haiti to work side by side with RoRo in the work of Haitian Christian Outreach during his college vacations and then full-time upon his graduation. The fundamental principles of unity and truth prevail in the work of HCO today.
