PRAY FOR HAITI: August 2021

“LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things planned long ago.” (Isaiah 25:1)

Praise God for the safe return of our staff and interns to the U.S. after the tragic loss of President Jovenel Moïse. God is faithful and opened doors for smooth travels.

Praise God for His protection during Hurricane Elsa. Everyone remained safe and there was minimal damage on campus and within the communities we serve.

Praise God for the three couples in Peredo who were baptized after getting married. We love celebrating these beautiful moments with our brothers and sisters!

Praise God for Dr. Jean Ovly Marcelin and the Dental Program at Peredo Community Hospital. The demand for high-quality dental care in Haiti is great. We are thankful God continues to provide for the needs of our brothers and sisters by allowing PCH to offer this much needed program in SE Haiti.

Praise God for the generosity of Judson Road Christian Church (IN) whose families raised funds during VBS to provide 100 infant care kits for new moms at Peredo Community Hospital!

“After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit nd spoke the word of God boldly.” (Acts 4:31)

Pray for the next leader of Haiti and for the conditions of the country to make a positive change for our brothers and sisters!

Pray for interns Rebecca, Nazara, and Blaine as they transition back home and begin to process all they experienced during their time in Haiti. The work of HCO was blessed as they pointed people to Jesus through the relationships they built.

Pray for our pastors at the Emmanuel Christian Churches as they lead their congregations and communities to to trust in God and find hope through a difficult loss in their countries history.

Pray for our teachers and students on summer break. Pray they find rest and enjoy a different routine.
