PRAY FOR HAITI: July 2020

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy, he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil, or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In all this, you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith – of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire – may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.” (1 Peter1:3-7)

Praise God for the faithfulness of our ministry partners who have made it possible for our pastors, teachers, principals, and hospital staff to continue to receive their salary during the uncertainty of the pandemic.

Praise God for the health and strength of the Peredo Community Hospital staff who continue to meet the needs of patients each day. PCH’s 30 doctors, nurses, and staff saw over 800 patients last month.

Praise God that the ports in Haiti have remained open so we are able to ship needed supplies, food, and medication.

Praise God for the 45 babies that were born at Peredo Community Hospital last month. We praise God these precious babies were born in a safe and healthy environment at PCH!

“They all joined together constantly in prayer” (Acts 1:14)

Pray for RoRo and Eline, JoJo and Grace, the 30 Peredo Community Hospital staff, the 141 Emmanuel Christian School teachers, and the 8 Emmanuel Christian Church pastors working in Haiti. Pray they find the strength to continue to serve as they press on in the name of Jesus.

Pray for the leaders in Haiti to make wise decisions that will support the people and provide critical resources. Fuel shortages, lack of medical resources, civil unrest, and the stigma of COVID-19 have deeply distressed our brothers and sisters in Haiti and we pray the light of Jesus will bring hope.

Pray for Emmanuel Christian Church families and Emmanuel Christian School children as they work through the pandemic with limited resources. We pray that churches in Haiti will be able to open soon and school will be able to resume in September.

Pray the fundraising efforts of the US Staff will fulfill the many project needs in Haiti. We are thankful God continues to work through our faithful churches and partners in ministry.

And pray with us for Every Child this month:
