PRAY FOR HAITI-June 2021

“In a loud voice they were saying, ‘Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!'” (Revelation 5:12)

Praise God for the beautiful set of twins born at Peredo Community Hospital. We praise God for all the babies born at PCH and for the professional staff that help bring these little ones into the world in a safe and clean environment.

Praise God for the work of Chapel Hill CC (IN) whose short term team accomplished a lot in one week including painting at the hospital, installing a battery, helping with staff training, reinforcing cabinets in the kitchen and much more. We are blessed by teams who come and work so hard to serve their brothers and sisters in Haiti.

Praise God for the opportunity to celebrate our nurses on Nurses Day. The nursing staff at Peredo Community Hospital work around the clock to bring compassionate and professional health care to hundreds of patients each month.

Praise God for Haiti Air Ambulance providing CPR training to the nurses at Peredo Community Hospital. We are blessed to partner with organizations that have a passion to serve!

Praise God for the Sports Evangelism Program on our campus in Peredo, which allows us to reach more young people in the community, not only those who attend Emmanuel Christian Church or Emmanuel Christian School.

“And when the time for the burning of incense came, all the assembled worshippers were praying outside.” (Luke 1:10)

Pray for HCO Summer Interns Rebecca, Blaine, and Nazara. As God stretches them and gives them opportunity to grow this summer, we pray they find joy in all the adventures they experience.

Pray for the more than 1,600 students and 141 teachers and staff throughout our 6 Emmanuel Christian Schools who will be finishing a very difficult school year this month. Our students and teachers are resilient and have persevered through civil unrest, a worldwide pandemic, storms, shutdowns, and so much more this year. We pray they find the strength to finish strong.

Pray for more opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus in each of the communities in which HCO serves. We continue to work diligently to serve with a mission to transform a culture for Christ in Haiti!

And pray with us for our Emmanuel Christian School students this month:

I continue to pray for all each morning. Also the building projects, Haiti’s leaders and for a general repentance and turning to God.
