PRAY FOR HAITI: October 2021

“Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: ‘To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!'” (Revelation 5:13)

Praise God for His provision of specific orthopedic instruments and tools needed to perform surgery. A young man’s foot was saved from amputation because he came to Peredo Community Hospital and the hospital had the exact tools needed to perform his surgery.

Praise God for the success of identifying families in need of housing after the earthquake. God has shown us numerous families who need help and through our generous donors we are able to begin gathering supplies for reconstruction and repair.

Praise God for the young people who have been attending the Sports Evangelism Program on campus in Peredo. We are grateful to have resources such as a basketball court and soccer field on campus to host sports programs which draw youth off the streets. Sports empower young people with confidence and leadership skills not to mention the opportunity to hear the Gospel.

“The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.” (Proverbs 15:29)

Pray for the health and safety of RoRo and Eline as they travel across the United States visiting ministry partners, family, and friends. Pray they are able to rest while also having meaningful visits with churches and ministry partners.

Pray for all of our students at Emmanuel Christian Schools in Drouillard, Port-au-Prince, Peredo, Kaptoyer, Seguin, and Grand Bois as they have officially started a new school year. The new school year is always filled with excitement and we pray it is a year of many blessings for our amazing students.

Pray for our pastors as they meet the spiritual and emotional needs of their congregations through a stressful time of healing and restoration. Pray they gain strength from Christ and are filled with the Holy Spirit to overcome the enemies tricks.

Pray for our teachers and administrative staff who pour into students and their families each day at school. Pray they have wisdom to meet the many needs of their students who have been through so much in the last year.
