Welcome Jojo! Associate Director of Operations On The Ground In Haiti

We are grateful to God for how He continues to grow and mold the work of Haitian Christian Outreach, a work that has been called to do something for Haiti that will last. God continues to use individuals each with unique abilities to bring the ministry of HCO together to fulfill a great calling. We’d like to introduce you to our newest team member and Associate Director of Operations in Haiti Mike N. Jord who goes by JoJo.

JoJo is a believer in the power of prayer, positive thinking, motivation, and has a strong passion and concern for helping others and their wellbeing. That same innate passion is what God has utilized to call him into the ministry. JoJo believes that his trust and faith in God has equipped him and will continue to trace the path needed to successfully serve and complete God’s sacred works.

JoJo was born and raised in Haiti, and he is the youngest of 5 siblings. He lived in the state of New York for more than 15 years but 4 years ago, he and his wife Grace decided to make South Florida their home.

During his youth in Haiti, JoJo played for the Haitian national basketball team, which developed his passion for sports that he continues to cultivate today. In his spare time, you can find him at the gym, or coaching and training young students to perfect their basketball skills and pursue an education.

JoJo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Science Administration and Outpatient Care from Grand Canyon University. He has also completed studies in medical assisting; he possesses personal training certifications, stretch therapy certification, has a current license as a chiropractor assistant, and is a certified medical and court interpreter. JoJo speaks Haitian Creole, French, and English.

JoJo and Grace will be preparing to move to Peredo, Haiti over the next few months where JoJo will be walking alongside RoRo and Eline offering administrative support through evangelical efforts, leadership training, and spiritual education to the community. He will also work closely with the entire Stateside team assisting in coordinating short-term teams, assisting in the development of Mission Operations, and in Communications to help tell the story of what God is doing in Haiti. We are excited and blessed to have Jojo join Haitian Christian Outreach and look forward to seeing how God will use him for His glory.
