PRAY FOR HAITI – September 2020
“Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise him, all creatures here below; Praise him above, ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.” Doxology by Thomas Ken
Praise God for our growing staff at Peredo Community Hospital which includes 40 doctors, nurses, technicians, administrative staff, and a dentist. God has richly blessed HCO with resources to bring quality medical and dental care to our community.
Praise God for his protection during Tropical Storm Laura. Though there was damage from water, wind, and debris everyone is safe and there were no major injuries to our pastors, teachers, students, hospital staff, and families.
Praise God for the 28 babies born last month at Peredo Community Hospital. We are seeing more mothers coming to the hospital to deliver babies and to follow up with infant well visits and immunizations with our Pediatrician.
Praise God for all the progress that has been made on Phase III construction of the Surgical Center. All interior and exterior walls have been completed. We look forward to providing more care for patients when this 22-bed long-term care facility is completed.
“Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant. For your sake, Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary. Give ear, our God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.” (Daniel 9:17-18)
Pray for relief and recovery from Tropical Storm Laura. There is much work that needs to be done to repair and clean up the Peredo Campus and the surrounding area.
Pray for farmers throughout Haiti who lost their crops due to flooding from the tropical storm. Farmers depend heavily on thriving crops for survival.
Pray for the construction company to be able to repair the road that leads to Peredo Community Hospital. The road has been washed away and left with a lot of debris. It has been very difficult for patients to travel to the hospital.
Pray for the continued health and protection of RoRo, Eline, JoJo, Grace, and all our brothers and sisters in Haiti. Everyone is working diligently to overcome each new challenge. God is our Rock and we will lean on him in times of trouble.
And pray with us for Every Child this month:
