PRAY FOR HAITI – February 2017
Pray With Us – February 2017
You are a gracious and merciful God, and we praise You for Your great mercy. (Neh. 9:31)
Praise God for the work of the first few teams and our construction crew as they made good progress on the electrical and roof work on the hospital expansion. We anticipate pouring the roof soon.
Praise God for donations toward our solar project that Trine University students are working on for campus.
Praise God no one was injured in the fire that took Rubert’s house next to campus.
Praise God for good food and seed distribution to the community of Seguin on the first Sunday of February.
Praise God new doors opening for Compressed Earth Block efforts.
Praise God that Haiti has a new President, Jovenel Moïse – the presidential election is finally over!
May we develop a strong, mountain-moving faith in You, Jesus. May we continue to live our lives in Him, rooted, built up, and strengthened in the faith, overflowing with thankfulness. (Mark 11:23-24; Colossians 2:6-7)
Pray for Rubert and his family as they lost their home and all their belongings in a fire.
Pray for the pouring of the cement roof for the hospital Phase II.
Pray for our hospital staff as they serve those who desperately need health care.
Pray for our upcoming teams – First CC (Fairfield, IL), Eastside CC (Albany, OR), and Butler University (Indianapolis, IN). May they serve selflessly and boldly in the name of Jesus.
Pray for relief and development efforts as we are continuing to help those who were affected by Hurricane Matthew.
Pray for Haiti’s new President-elect Jovenel Moïse and all of the efforts of the country to regain balance and unity.
