For over 40 years, Haitian Christian Outreach has walked alongside communities in Haiti, serving with a heart for transformation that goes beyond temporary solutions. As we close out 2025 and celebrate this milestone year, we are humbled by the countless ways God has shown His faithfulness. What began as a simple calling has grown into a legacy of hope that continues to reach children, families, leaders, and entire communities.

Throughout these four decades, our mission has remained simple but powerful:
to do something in Haiti that will last!

When we think about legacy, it’s more than what we build with our hands; it’s about aligning our hearts with God’s vision. It means asking, “What can we do today that will bear fruit for generations to come?” That question guides everything we do in Haiti.

From the classrooms where children learn academics along with the values of integrity and service, to the Peredo Community Hospital where families receive care, comfort, and hope — every effort is rooted in a desire to see lasting transformation. And even amid challenges such as political instability, natural disasters, and community crises, HCO remains committed to God’s plan and His people.

Our approach has always been long-term. It’s never been about meeting a momentary need and stepping away. Instead, we focus on building systems, structures, and programs that will thrive long after our hands have left the worksite. Whether it’s training pastors, equipping teachers, preparing healthcare professionals, or strengthening local leadership, we are working to empower Haitians to lead their own communities forward with confidence and strength.

And now, as we round out this 40th year of ministry, we find ourselves reflecting on the legacy that has been built, and the legacy that still lies ahead.
