Growing Hope—A Journey to Haiti is a mission emphasis curriculum that highlights what God is doing through Haitian Christian Outreach.
Come along with Amy, an energetic young girl who has just returned from a mission trip to Haiti with her family, as she tells about her journey to Haiti.
She was hoping to meet every child in Haiti…or at least every child who attends HCO’s Emmanuel Christian Schools. She didn’t quite meet them all, but she’s ready to tell children in America about her trip and four new friends she made along the way.
In this mission’s emphasis curriculum, you’ll meet four HCO students who have big dreams for how God will use them. We hope that these stories will give you a glimpse of the hope that is springing up among our Haitian brothers and sisters in Christ. This hope is being born as we focus on evangelizing, equipping, empowering, and encouraging Haitian Christians.
Growing Hope is great for VBS mission moments, large or small group teaching time, student small group study, homeschool groups, virtual groups, and more!
Growing Hope materials include:
- 5 Growing Hope Video Segments that introduce children in HCO schools
- Creole phrases for your kids to learn
- Supplemental Curriculum Packet
- Daily activities
- Additional resources
- Fundraising ideas
You may also want to use the HCO Overview Video, which features our main ministry areas or the HCO Child Sponsorship video, which details our Every Child Sponsorship program both of which can be shared with people of all ages.
Naturally, our hope is that this curriculum will help you grow in your support of God’s work in Haiti and especially with Haitian Christian Outreach. We offer this packet to you free of charge but would appreciate any offering or gift that you could share with HCO in return for the use of Growing Hope.
We are thankful for your partnership in the Lord and hope that this will be a blessing to your entire church!
