PRAY FOR HAITI: OCTOBER 2022

So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time He will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you. Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are. In His kindness God called you to share in His eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, He will restore, support, and strengthen you, and He will place you on a firm foundation. All power to Him forever! Amen. I have written and sent this short letter to you with the help of Silas, whom I commend to you as a faithful brother. My purpose in writing is to encourage you and assure you that what you are experiencing is truly part of God’s grace for you. Stand firm in this grace. 1 Peter 5: 6-12

God, we praise You for Your loving grace that we are able to lean on during our times of need. We can stand and praise Your Great Name knowing that You are in control over the situation in Haiti. Even in the darkness and the hurt, Your light shines and we can not wait for the day this war will come to an end. 

Praise God for ALL of our heroes on the ground in Haiti. We praise You for their strength and willingness to be Your hands and feet in Haiti. 

God, we praise You for Peredo Community Hospital as they continue to serve the community 24/7. 

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely Your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23: 4-6

Pray for our 1,600 students that are heading back to school! Pray for their minds to absorb all that You have provided through their amazing teachers. Please pray for each seat in our classrooms, for their safety, and that our students will be able to continue their education year despite the state of the country. 

Pray for safety. Safety of Ro, Eline, JoJo, ALL of our heroes on the ground in Haiti. Pray they continue to feel God’s presence and protection.  

Continue to pray for the humanitarian crisis in Haiti. This crisis has also caused food shortages all over the country; causing 5.6 million people to be at high risk for food insecurity and malnutrition, 1.3 million on the verge of starvation in our communities. Please continue to pray for our Haitian brothers and sisters, as their country is held hostage during their current situation. We pray for the stability of their country to be regained. We pray for wisdom over the leadership and safety, security, and restoration of the country. We pray for the softening of the hearts of those who have found no other choice but to join the ranks of the gangs. Join us in the prayer of revival!
