Jorja has been involved and partnering with HCO since her first trip to Haiti in 2018. Then served as a 2019 summer intern. She has the knowledge and skills to serve and lead with excellence in these roles. She has a BIG heart for the schools, children, and community.

“From the moment I stepped foot on the campus in Peredo, my life changed. I could feel the presence of God moving through all the children, community and the campus staff.

My heart for global missions started in high school after multiple mission trips to the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, as well as stateside. As a junior in high school, I felt the calling on my life for missions at the final altar call at a week of church camp. Then again in college, I went to Haiti for the first time for a week, and it changed my life. I knew I had to go back, so I applied to be a summer intern.

When Megan, Haitian Christian Outreach’s U.S. Director, became the U.S. Director in the summer of 2019, I was an intern. When meeting Megan, I was immediately drawn to her energy, passion, and love for others. Our relationship continued after my summer as an intern and every conversation I have had with Megan since has been so uplifting, encouraging and always pointing me to Jesus. When Megan had reached out to me about this opportunity to work alongside HCO full-time, she asked me to pray about it and I was VERY adamant that I had been praying about this for a while now and I knew God had been preparing the path, and my heart, for this opportunity. I am honored to work alongside such an amazing group of people that have a burning passion for this ministry.

I am encouraged by the next generation that we are raising up, educating, equipping, and encouraging to be Christian leaders for their community. I am so passionate for these children, I love sharing the work God is doing through HCO by building up future kingdom workers.”

Please help us welcome Jorja and join us in praying for her as she serves the Lord in this way!
