2025 MID-YEAR IMPACT –  40 YEARS OF MINISTRY IN HAITI

For over 40 years, we have partnered with Haitian Christians to do something in Haiti that will last. Our ten churches, six schools, community hospital, and local development initiatives are raising entire generations of new believers. Our ministry strives to evangelize, equip, empower, and encourage every single day. Throughout 2025, we are celebrating 40 years of Haitian Christian Outreach. Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or joined us more recently, your presence and partnership are a vital part of the story God is writing through this ministry. 

The situation in Haiti continues to make daily tasks sometimes impossible. But God, by providing faithful partners like you, makes our ministry possible. Will you join us on your knees in praying for our friends in Haiti? We have not forgotten them. We see them. Our hearts break over the situation they’re in. God, we ask for you to continue to move on Haiti’s behalf. Watch over our friends; provide in each step they take. Bring hope and peace to those in need. Move mountains. We know you are not done with Haiti or our ministry. 

Being halfway through this year, we wanted to pause, share, and celebrate all the Lord is doing through HCO with a mid-year impact report, along with a few ways you can continue to support the work we are doing in Haiti. 

The Emmanuel Christian Churches

Our pastors are leading their congregations with wisdom and grace. Please continue praying for them and their families. We shared that last year we had to move the Port-au-Prince location to a new building due to the gang violence in the downtown area. Now, this location is able to meet consistently on a weekly basis. PRAISE GOD! We are so grateful to our partners who have helped make this happen thus far, but we still need the funds to continue renting this new building. Help the Emmanuel Christian Church/School continue renting this building. GIVE HERE. The Emmanuel Christian Schools

We are hearing stories of children, ages 12 to 15, who have joined gangs because it’s one of the only ways they can support themselves. These children lacked strong leaders or role models in their lives to invest in them and teach them core values. This is why what we do in the Emmanuel Christian Schools is so important, and our teachers are extremely valuable. Education transforms lives. 

The ‘24-’25 school year ended in July, and we had over 1,600 students in attendance throughout the year. Our 13th grade students took their state exams, and we are now awaiting their test results. Would you pray for our students as they have their summer break? May the Lord continue to protect them and their families, give them much needed rest and help them feel ready to go back in the fall. The Peredo Community Hospital 

Our hospital delivers comprehensive medical services across the region. Your partnership helps ensure that people hear how much God loves them. The Peredo Community Hospital continues to be a beacon in the communities we serve. Though resources are critically low, we are continuing to serve wherever we can. 

This year already we have treated over 1,700 patients, delivered 24 babies, and performed 18 surgeries. 

During several surgeries, we did not have enough diesel to keep the generator running. As a result, our staff had to finish those surgeries using flashlights, because no generator means no power and no lights. How can you serve alongside our hospital staff? A monthly gift of $40.00 or more can help us keep the generator running and continue saving lives.
