How Many People Can Fit in a Tap Tap? One More.
If you’ve ever traveled the colorful streets of Haiti, you’ve probably seen a “tap tap.” These vibrant, hand-painted buses and pickup trucks, each one a work of art, are the heartbeat of Haitian public transportation. Crowded, bustling, alive with music, chatter, and movement, tap taps aren’t just vehicles; they’re a community on wheels.
Ask anyone how many people can fit into a tap tap, and you’re likely to hear the same answer:
“One more.”
That phrase, spoken with a smile, is more than just a commentary on logistics or local culture. It’s a way of life, a declaration of welcome, of flexibility, of grace. In a world that often tells us there isn’t enough space, enough time, or enough love, the tap tap says otherwise. There’s always room for one more.
One More for the Kingdom
This spirit is the heartbeat of our ministry. Our founder, RoRo Eustache, has always believed that the foundation of this mission is winning souls for Christ. And just like the tap tap, we carry the message in our hearts:
There is always room for one more.
One more classroom full of students. One more family receiving hope through prayer and service. One more soul hearing the Good News of Jesus Christ. One more patient receiving life-saving care at the Peredo Community Hospital.
It doesn’t matter how full the house feels, how packed the schedule is, or how heavy the load gets when someone comes searching, we make room. Because the Kingdom of Heaven operates on the same principle: no one gets turned away.
Jesus didn’t say, “Come to me all who are tired and heavy laden… unless we’ve reached capacity.”
He said, “Come to me, all.”
All.
All.
And if you’re wondering if “all” includes you, yes, it does.
Just Like a Tap Tap
The beauty of the tap tap isn’t just its color or character; it’s its capacity to stretch. A few inches here. A shift in seating there. A willingness to scoot closer, make room, share space.
That’s what the Body of Christ looks like. That’s what we strive to be. People are willing to stretch and share so that one more can experience the love of Jesus.
So, how many people can fit in a tap tap?
One more.
And how many can fit in the Kingdom of Heaven?
One more.
And in our ministry, how many more can we serve, love, and lead to Christ?
One more. Always one more.
If you’re reading this and wondering where you fit in, know this:
There’s space for you. In the tap tap. In the ministry. In the Kingdom.
We saved a seat. Hop in.
Inspired by our founder, RoRo Eustache, and his unwavering commitment to win souls for Christ.
