Pray With Us – May 2017

We praise You today, Lord, as our Jehovah-Jireh, knowing The Lord Will Provide, as you make all grace abound in use and generously provide all we need! (2 Cor. 9:8)

Praise God that all of the remaining funds for the dump truck have been raised! We are thrilled to see God continue this miracle through His provision and your generosity. RoRo is making arrangements with the dealership about the timing of delivery.

Praise God for a great Vision Trip!  We are blessed by those who “come and see” all that God is doing through HCO and prayerfully consider how to deepen their involvement with us.

Praise God for RoRo’s visit to Belle Anse in April that is helping move forward the church planting efforts there.

Praise God for those exploring new and increased partnerships with HCO through prayer, monthly support, special projects, and more.

Praise God for the recent Every Child weekend at a partner church. We are excited to see how many sponsorships come from this emphasis weekend.

Lord, may we be clothed in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. (Hebrews 12:1)

Pray for new Every Child Sponsorships. Currently, we need an additional 700 students sponsored each month to fully fund our schools. Pray for churches that will host Every Child Sundays, new sponsors to begin giving, and current sponsors to increase their sponsorships.

Pray for our Board Meeting on May 20. We ask that God will continue to reveal His plans for ministry and encourage our team through time spent together.

Pray for our students and teachers as they finish the last month of school before summer break, which begins in June. May they all finish strong!

Pray for our Haitian and American staff and our Summer 2017 interns (Larissa, Hannah, Andrea, Lizzy) as we all prepare to serve our summer teams. Interns arrive in Peredo on June 1.

Pray for RoRo and Eline this summer, as Ro is the missionary at Camp Allendale and Eline leads interns and teams in Peredo. May God strengthen and encourage them as they serve in two locations.

Pray for a good mix of sun and rain in Haiti. As of April 26, it had rained 18 days straight in Seguin and the mountain region. Just a few days later, the PAP airport had some flooding. Roads are muddy, transportation is more difficult, and farmers are concerned about their crops receiving too much rain.

Pray for the Emmanuel Christian Churches in Cyvadier and Port-au-Prince as they continue to address leadership struggles.

And pray with us for Every Child this month:
