PRAY FOR HAITI: November 2022

“Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later. For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay.” Romans 8: 18-22

Praise God for RoRo and Eline as they continue to follow God’s Will even in the depth of destruction, chaos, and war in Haiti. Thank you for allowing them to be the shining light in the darkness that is in desperate need of Jesus’ love.

Praise God for our Emmanuel Christian Church pastors as they continue to be the hands in feet in their communities.

God we PRAISE YOU for the Glory that You bring to the world through Jesus. Thank You for Your goodness even in the mists of suffering. You Are Good.

“Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, nor our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8: 53-39

Pray for our students during this time as the schools have not been able to start the 2022 year due to the safety of all our students. Pray for all of our teachers as they are eager to get back to work when it is safe.

Pray for the future of Haiti’s government. We pray for the stability of their country to be regained. We pray for wisdom over the leadership and safety, security, and restoration of the country. Pray for the humanitarian crisis in Haiti. This crisis has also caused food shortages all over the country; causing 5.6 million people to be at high risk for food insecurity and malnutrition, 1.3 million on the verge of starvation in our communities. Join us in the prayer of revival!

Pray for the cholera outbreak that is spreading throughout Haiti. As the disease continues to spread to over 1700 cases, pray for the treatment to be provided to cure those who are sick. Pray for clean drinking water to be provided throughout Haiti.
