PRAY FOR HAITI – September 2019
“Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise- the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.” (Hebrews 13:15)
Praise God for the church revivals in Peredo and Belle Anse and for the bold witness of our pastors. The Gospel message is being boldly preached and faithfully demonstrated.
Praise God for the 7 babies born at Peredo Community Hospital during the month of August. We are blessed to be a part of these little miracles and in seeing they have a strong start to life.
Praise God for our new partnership with Haiti Air Ambulance. May many more patients have access to Peredo Community Hospital through this ambulance service.
Praise God for the health and safety of Roro and Eline as they recently traveled throughout the U.S. sharing the vision of HCO and visiting with family and friends.
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” (James 5:8)
Pray for our students, teachers, and staff as they return to school this month. Pray that students will be excited to learn, teachers will be empowered to overcome challenges, and staff will be equipped to lead.
Pray for the school construction work in Grand Bois. Pray for protection of the many construction workers involved in the project and for favorable weather conditions so the work continues to make progress.
Pray for the remaining short term teams who will be coming to serve in Haiti and for the work God has planned for them. Teams will be joining us from Illinois, Arizona, Indiana, and Missouri throughout the remainder of 2019.
Continue to pray for the Haitian people, spiritually, politically and economically. Please join us in praying for peace and wise resolutions to the many issues they are facing. May the people find true hope and provision through a relationship with Jesus Christ! And may those in powerful positions lead in such a way that brings lasting positive change to the people and country we all love so much.
