PRAY FOR HAITI- SEPTEMBER 2022

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. Matthew 4:1-4

Praise God for the leaders in the sports evangelism program that JoJo and RoRo are mentoring individually. Pray for the few hand-picked young men they see as leaders in the program. Pray that these young men will bear the fruits that God is producing and laying before them.

God, we praise You for Your great faithfulness. Even when it might feel like we are wandering in the wilderness, we can continue to trust in Your promises because You have already walked before everything You have called us into.

Praise God for our hospital staff who jumped into action to ensure the patients in the wreck with the tank truck on the mountain had the best care that the Peredo Community Hospital could provide! Thank You for Your wisdom and knowledge in every situation You bring us to.

My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart. God is a righteous judge, a God who displays his wrath every day. If he does not relent, he will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow. He has prepared his deadly weapons; he makes ready his flaming arrows. Psalm 7:10-13

Pray for our 1,600 students that will be heading back to school next month! Pray that this summer has restored their minds. Pray for their families as they continue to face challenges due to the state of the country. Pray that they are excited to come back to fill the seats in each of our six schools.

Pray for Pas and Madam Pas as they continue to do that work that God has called on their lives of doing something in Haiti that will last through evangelism, education, health care, and community development.

Pray for the humanitarian crisis in Haiti happening due to the gangs blocking the supply chain. The disruption that has caused communities to be cut off from clean drinking water needing to be trucked in.This crisis has also caused food shortages all over the country; causing 4.5 million people to be at high risk for food insecurity and malnutrition, 1.3 million on the verge of starvation in our communities. Please continue to pray for our Haitian brothers and sisters, as their country is held hostage during their current situation. We pray for the stability of their country to be regained. We pray for wisdom over the leadership and safety, security, and restoration of the country. We pray for the softening of the hearts of those who have found no other choice but to join the ranks of the gangs. Join us in the prayer of revival!
